Forced Child Labor in Uzbakistan cotton fields
In the Uzbakistanian cotton fields, incredibly, both young as well as small children are forced to work under harsh labor conditions that clearly violate the Interantional Labor Organization's laws, for little or no pay. They are forced to work dreadfully long hours every day, taken out of school and denied access to education, and are handling dangerous tools, all to generate the major corporations and government with a relatively efficient method of generating capital without having to spend their own resources too heavily . All of these illegal and ethically controversial activities are widely encouraged or even forced by the Uzbekistan government in order to bolster and stimulate the commodity of cotton in the Uzbek economy.
